SEASON 2 OF NIGERIAN IDOL

Season two of the Nigerian Idol starts on December 4, 2011. The Nigerian Idol is a reality music show aimed at discovering young people with musical talents. The first season of the reality show was won by Onka yeka a twenty six year old woman. The show is sponsored by etisalat Nigeria. LAGOS FASHION 2011 EXHIBITION

The Lagos fashion 2011 exhibition will hold from October 5 to October 7, 2011 at Eko hotel from 10.00 – 18.00 daily. The purpose of the exhibition is to bring manufacturers of fashion products from Turkey to Nigeria to enable them meet with potential investors and partners. GOOGLE PARTNERS WITH EKO BANK AND MTN TO LAUNCH GETTING NIGERIAN BUSINESSES ONLINE (GNBO)

Google partners with Eko Bank and MTN to launch getting Nigerian businesses online at Eko hotel on Sepember 27, 2011. With this initiative, small and medium scale businesses can own their websites for free. The only condition attached to opening a free website is that you must have a gmail account. INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC MANAGEMENT`S INDUCTION /INVESTITURES CEREMONY

The institute of public management`s induction and investiture`s ceremony took place at the Nigeria Institute of Medical research, 4/6 Edmond Cresent Yaba Lagos Nigeria on September 24, 2011. The Theme of the lecture was making Tomorrow a better day and the Topic was Imperatives of Democratic good governance. The guest speakers were Barrister Austin Osakue, Chairman Coalition of NGO`S ( Edo State) and Barrister Ugochukwu Agballah former commissioner of works Enugu State. The special guest of the occasion was Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, executive governor of Osun State who was ably represented by the deputy governor of Osun State, Otunba Grace Titilayo Laoye Tomori. Arch. COMMISSIONING OF AMAZING GRACE MULTIPURPOSE HALL IN KIRIKIRI FEMALE PRISON


Amazing Grace Penticostal Church, Worldwide on September 10, 2011 at the Women prison in Kirikiri commissioned the multi-purpose hall it built and officially handed it over to the prison authorities. Some female inmates display some of their works at the occassion: They aquired the skills in prison custody.


Commissioning of the Multi-purpose Hall was done by the representative of the deputy governor of Lagos State, Dr. Tunde Opeibi with the microphone, to his right is Akinwale Folashade Olukemi, deputy Comptroller in charge of female prison, to his left is Bishop Chioma Grace Dauji and Apostle Edward Baba Dauji.

The prison authority disclosed that seven children live with their mothers in prison. This young baby carried by the mum is one of them.
