NIGERIAN IDOL THEATRE SHOW FOR THE TOP THIRTY CONTESTANTS

The first live recording of the Nigerian Idol theatre show for the top thirty contestants, took place at the dream studio in Omole Ojodu Berger Lagos Nigeria on December 30, 2011. Ten Artistes contested on that day, of which the best three, will be chosen for the final. Etisalat Nigeria, is the major sponsor of the event. Nagita, promised to prove to one of the Judges (Yinka Davies), that she will do well in the live recording in Lagos. That she actually did, with yinka, admitting defeat.

ARCHBISHOP ATILADE ADDRESSES THE PRESS ON THE STATE OF THE NATION.

The briefing was held in Mushin Lagos Nigeria on December 30, 2011. Archbishop Atilade made it clear that if nothing is urgently done by the government, the Christians will be forced to defend themselves.

BETTY ABAH, REMEMBERS THE POOR

While other people spent their christmas, with their families and loved ones, this journalist, who works with ERA, an NGO, spent hers in a Village in Ogun State South West Nigeria called Legun, with kids, who have a poor background. CHRISTMAS WELFARE PACKAGE FOR WIDOWS, AGED, LESS PRIVILEGED AND ORPHANS

CHRISTMAS CAROLS OF NINE LESSONS

The Praying Band, Saint Matthias New Church of Cherubim and Seraphim Ago-Itunu (Aladura), held it`s annual Christmas Carols of Nine Lessons at the Church`s headquarters, situated at 2, Abule Nla Road, Ebute Metta (West), Lagos Nigeria, on December 20, 2011. 2011 GLOWING CHANNELS CHARITY CONCERT

Glowing Channels had its 13th annual concert recently at the main auditorium of the University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba Lagos Nigeria, under the theme, APPRECIATING THE GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY! In the above picture, Mrs Motunlayo Adefunke Sofowote, Founder/President, Glowing Channels Foundation, welcomes members of the audience to the show.

HEALTH WALK

Christian Welfare Initiative, headed by Archbishop Magnus Atilade had a Health Walk from Marina in Lagos Island to the Yoruba Lawn Tennis Club in Onikan Lagos Nigeria on December 20, 2011. The purpose of the Walk was to create awareness of such killer diseases as Malaria, HIV/AIDS, Diabetes and Cardiovascular.
