In his lecture, he said that the bible says that the sower threw around seeds. Some fell on good soils and produced. Some fell on rocky ground and could not produce. Obviously all the seeds were good but where the seeds fell  determined the level of productivity of the seeds. Therefore, the sower should be held responsible for seeds that could not peoduce. If anything is wrong with your life ask God he said.

Archbishop Magnus Atilade said that the CBN is lieing that Islamic Banking is interest free. It is not true he said. When you have a business idea and you propose it to the Islamic Bank, they will fund it and attach somebody to monitor the financial aspect of the business. The very first day the business begins to make profit, they will start deducting the interest rate which is fifty percent The noise about interest free rate should stop, because it`s not true. Islamic Banking will not take place in this country because it`s a means of wanting to make Nigeria a muslim state.

FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIANS MINISTERS NIGERIA, IMPLORES PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN TO IMPLEMENT HIS ELECTION MANIFESTO.

The Fellowship Of Christian Ministers Nigeria, urged the president of the federal republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to quickly implement the manifesto that gave him victory. The president of the association, Rev. Joseph Afolabi Oladipo also declared the association`s displeasure over cultural and traditional ritauals or activities that affects other religious groups. He cited an example of how he was travelling and saw a road block thinking it was the police. As he approached, he realized that he saw pots with fire in them. After a little of investigation, he found out that there was a traditional festival called Awojale taking place which he was made to understand that women were not allowed to go out for about nine to eleven days. This according to Rev. Joseph Afolabi Oladipo is totally unacceptable by the fellowship which was established in 1912. This rituals in times past took place in the middle of the night when most people were asleep. For it to be taking place in broad day light is totally unacceptable by the fellowship and as a result, the fellowship is asking for the immediate intervention of the federal government of Nigeria. He also cited an example of a cultural festival that took place one evening and deprived a woman from attending an evening service. This is a country that has it`s constitution he queried. There is no where in the constitution of this country that makes one religion to be subjective to another. L-R of the picture above: Rev. Dr .Micheal  Ekiran ,immediate past president of the Fellowship Of Christian Ministers Nigeria, Rev Joseph Afolabi Oladipo, President Fellowship Of Christian Ministers Nigeria and Rev .Solomon Akanji Adeosun treasurer Fellowship Of Christian Ministers of Nigeria at the Emmanuel African Church Cathedral 5,Ijaye street Odi Olowo Mushin Lagos Nigeria on July 21,2011

CHRISTIAN WELFARE INITIATIVE BLAMES LOCAL GOVERNMENT ON FLOOD.

The Christian Welfare Initiative, headed by Archbishop Magnus Atilade,is not happy with the way the government of the day is handling the issue of Boko Haram.According to the president, all those behind Boko Haram should be prosecuted. The immediate past governor of Borno state Alimodu Sheriff should be prosecuted. The president of CWI is also against Islamic banking. This is another device of wanting to make Nigeria a Muslim nation.I dont see any rational in a bank giving out loans without interest. Those advocating for Islamic banking should come all out and tell us how they are going to go about giving out loans without interest he argued.Even if giving out loans without interest is going to work, the president believes that the name Islamic banking should not be allowed because Nigeria is a country with a constitution that allows freedom of worship. The third issue the CWI addressed was the issue of minimum wage.It is wicked for the government to say they can`t pay 18,000 naira when those in the house of assembly earn as much as 12 million naira every month. The president of CWI wants the 18,000 naira minimum wage to commence from the end of this month (July). The flood that ravaged the country recently was blamed on the Chairmen of local governments who according to the president of CWI should provide good drainage systems, motor able roads in their localities. If this had been put in place, the flood would not have done the damage it did to the nation and it`s citizens when the rain fell. Picture right is Archbishop Magnus A.Atilade president of Christian Welfare Initiative and his vice professor Chris Awodipe addressing the issues concerning the nation July 18,2011.

Rev.Dr.Michael Ekiran says that Islamic banking should not be what should be paramount in the CBN`s agenda, rather the CBN should try and strengthen the naira.Next to him is the secretary of CWI, Eddy Nnadi and the vice president Professor Chris Awodipe.

The flood at Oremeji Olori Ogun state is a typical example of what the CWI president is talking about the local government. This  area lacks the presence of the local governemt concerning such infrastucture as a good drainage system and a motorable road.
