CLEANER GIVES PASTOR ADEBOYE G.O. OF RCCG A CAR AS GIFT.

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, preaching on the subject "I SHALL BE THE HEAD" at the National Headquarters of the Church on May 6, 2012


The National Headquarters of the   Redeemed Christian Church of God aka Throne of Grace situated in Ebute Metta Lagos Nigeria organised a programme for the men titled “I SHALL BE THE HEAD”. The main purpose of the programme is to pray for men so that the promise of God in the book of Deuteronomy chapter 28 Verse 13 will be fulfilled. Most Nigerian men are not fulfilling their responsibilities as husbands noted Pastor Johnson Odesola of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. In times past, men took care of their wives without their financial assistance. But these days, women now contribute to the financial purse of the family. This according to Pastor Odesola is not the will of God for men. The will of God for men is for them to be on top and fulfill all financial responsibilities of the family. To make sure that the men get what rightfully belongs to them, The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye prayed for the men at the National Headquarters of the Church on May 6, 2012. He made the Church understand what it takes to be the head. The head is carring two eyes he said. Those eyes should be used to see visions. You have to see what the ordinary eyes cannot see to excel in life. He sighted an example of a young university graduate who for years had no job, suddenly, he just got the understanding that he could drive and he had a driver`s license so he went out asking for a loan. They kept asking him what he wanted the loan for and his response was don`t worry I want to use it for something. Eventually, he got the loan and he bought a very old bus and he started plying the western region of Nigeria. One day, the mother boarded his bus and heard the way the passengers were talking to him, and this did not go down well with the mother who later called him and asked him if driving was all he could do in life. The young man came with another vision that outside driving, he could sweep very well. The young man then began a cleaning company in a small way. He started cleaning The Alter of the Church and even the camp Alter for free. Gradually, the business started growing and today, the business has branches all over the world. One day, the young man came and presented me (Pastor Adeboye) a car, for a person to be able to give a car out he must at least have a bicycle he said. So for a man to be the head, he must pray for God`s vision to see in the spiritual what he will do to make Deuteronomy Chapter 28 Verse 13 come to fulfillment in his life.
