Denro is situated in Oluwakemi in Ogun state Nigeria. This flood is caused by improper planning by Ogun state government who has refused to put in place necessary infrastructure to allow free flow of water whenever it rains or when the oyan dam strikes by opening its waters. This bridge was put in place by the community(area boys) and they collected as much as fifty per person. The state government heard of it and told them to stop collecting the money as they were given two hundred and five thousand naira. They did stop. On Tuesday 25, 2011 the plank bridge collasped in the evening. But reports had it that the people who fell into the Oyan dam created river were successfully rescued.
