This dangerous pit was reported by this site some weeks ago. Not too long after the report, a rain fell that resulted into a flood. A commercial motorcyclist not knowing that a pit was there, thinking it was a road, used it and that was the end of his life. The commercial motorcyclist died in this pit about three weeks ago. A reliable source spoke to the governor of Ogun state, Senator Ibukunle Amosun, and the governor said, though the inhabitants of Alagbole Akute road where this pit is located work and pay their taxes in Lagos state,nevertheless that the state will do something about the pit, but that the state(Ogun) does not have money. The question now is, when will the state have money and save people from becoming a victim of this pit? This photograph was taken at Akute Alagbole road in Ogun state Nigeria on November 2, 2011.
