Season 2 of the Nigerian Idol reality music show, sponsored by Etisalat Nigeria, witnessed three contestants, namely, Ayo Ayola 25, a recording Artiste from Oyo state in Nigeria, Diwari Peterside 28, a Lawyer from Rivers State, who graduated from Middlesex University in the United Kingdom and Mercy Chinwo 20, a Student also from Rivers State,qualifying for the finals of the competition from their group which had Ten talented singers.The eviction was held in Lagos on January 26, 2012.
