Gunshots reported in Damaturu

YOBE- Heavy gunfire was reported on Monday (July 16, 2012) afternoon in parts of Damaturu, the capital of Yobe State.
There was no indication as to the reason for the gunfire.
But the Joint Task Force swiftly rallied to the affected areas to bring the situation under control.
Channels Television says it confirmed the development from the Yobe State Commissioner for Police, Patrick Egbuniwe.
